New understandings of water science have led to radically new water treatment technologies – low pressure, low energy, cheap, simple, low maintenance and easy to deliver and maintain, and able to produce potable water from virtually any source. The technologies have been laboratory tested, and are ready for commercialisation.

Breakthrough Water Technologies is a company formed to develop and commercialise new technologies.

The ground breaking new water treatment technologies are based on fundamental changes in the science of water, discovered and developed by leading water scientists ANU Emeritus Professor Barry Ninham (AO) and Professor Ric Pashley at the University of New South Wales, Australia. The technologies are the subject of patent applications and licensed exclusively to Breakthrough Water Technologies.
